The Letter to Kent Colwell
from F. Scott Fitzgerald

No news. We are spending a month here in the Pyrenees near Pau--then on March 1 we go to the Riviera, probably Nice, to remain untill I finish my new novel. Owen Davis' dramatization of The Great Gatsby has opened in New York and looks like a hit. It appears (the novel I mean) in England this month, and in French translation next fall. A book of short stories, All the Sad Young Men, appears in New York this month. Last summer we made a tour through Burgundy and Provence with Sap Donahoe. Nonny Jackson writes that he has a new daughter. Townsend Martin and John Bishop are with Famous Players, and that is all the news I know.
